ELVIS AG (European Cargo Association of International Freight Forwarders) is the leading association of truck forwarders and carriers in Europe and represents the interests of currently 204 member companies. Through its partners, the Verbund is represented at 280 locations in Germany and in more than 20 European countries. The primary goal of ELVIS AG is to realize advantages for the member companies that result from economies of scale and cooperation with each other.
The service portfolio of the association includes the central purchase of goods and services, the own online shop “ELVIS Truckstar” as well as consulting solutions. ELVIS informs its members at an early stage about all market and industry changes as well as about relevant political developments and their effects.
As an umbrella organisation, the association acts as a central point of contact and representation of the interests of its members in relation to politics and administration. With the aim of generating practical value and benefits for the affiliated member companies, ELVIS AG also regularly initiates and supervises pilot projects and cooperations with universities and scientific institutions.
In addition, there are various operational networks under the umbrella of ELVIS AG: a part load network, a FullLoad network, a volume load network, a building materials network and a pallet portal.
ELVIS AG has been in existence since 2006 and today has a fleet of more than 17,000 trucks through its members.
